Postcode Shipping Rule · Last updated: 12 August 2026
Postcode Shipping Rule ("the App") provides postcode-based shipping rate calculation for Shopify stores. This policy describes what information the App collects, how it is used, and how it is protected.
When you install the App on your Shopify store, we collect and store:
When a customer checks out on your store, or uses the shipping estimator on a product page, Shopify or your storefront sends the App the destination address (postcode, suburb, state) and the SKUs and quantities in the cart. This information is used only to calculate a shipping rate for that request and is not stored. The App does not collect, store, or process customer names, email addresses, phone numbers, or payment information.
We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties. We do not use your data for advertising or analytics beyond operating the App.
The App runs on Cloudflare's global infrastructure (Cloudflare Workers and associated storage services). Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest.
Your shipping data is retained while the App is installed on your store. When you uninstall the App, Shopify notifies us and all data associated with your store — including shipping rates, postcode mappings, and access tokens — is permanently deleted. You may also request deletion at any time by contacting us.
The App implements Shopify's mandatory privacy webhooks. Because the App does not store customer personal information, customer data requests and customer redaction requests result in no stored data to disclose or delete. Store redaction requests permanently remove all data held for the store.
